The Geek is back!

Everything you missed at the Intel Innovation Conference, which brought datacenter and AI focus to techies and business managers alike

Sponsored Post Intel's flagship technology event - Intel Innovation - took place at the San Jose Convention Center in California earlier this month, with select content available on demand from September 27th for those who were unable to attend in-person.

The program was packed with the sort of tech knowhow which can help you transform your organization's IT processes and business operations. Whether you're a software or hardware developer, a technology manager or work in academic research, Intel Innovation will give you insight into the latest AI and datacenter technologies including open multi-architectures, edge to cloud platforms and next gen systems.

Partners were out in force too, with the likes of Micron, Rambus, Samsung and Synopsys demonstrating a variety of interoperability use cases around PCIe CXL and DRAM. Elsewhere the Confidential Computing Community (which includes IBM, Thales, zScaler and Fortanix amongst others) showed how hardware enabled data security can enable multi-partner collaboration and data sovereignty within an open ecosystem.

Demonstrations of the latest GenAI and large language model (LLM) technology took centre stage, with the AI Solutions Community intent on proving just how much difference AI can make across industries from healthcare to retail, manufacturing, transportation, security and education.

And don't forget the start-ups! The innovation lifeblood of the IT industry - from newly emergent companies to established unicorns – were there to talk about how they are working with Intel to build the products and solutions of tomorrow.

Event highlights are now online, including speeches from Intel CTO Greg Lavendar, Melissa Evers, Vice President of Software and Advanced Technology Group, and Kelsey Hightower, Former Distinguished Engineer at Google Cloud.

And in case you missed Pat Gelsinger's opening Day 1 keynote – 'Developing the Future of the Siliconomy - don't worry – there's a Livestream recording of it here. Other speeches from Fei Fei Li, Co-Director, Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI), Sequoia Professor of Computer Science, Stanford University; Intel Fellow Lama Nachman; and Dan Harris, New York Times Best-Selling Author and Award-Winning Former ABC News Anchor are also available.
